Flyers on display...
So far I have delivered my flyers and put them on display at What Katie Did (a retro styled lingerie shop in Portobello), and at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club - a popular burlesque venue. Both are frequented by people who are into the burlesque scene, so hopefully my flyers will be of interest to the clientele. Stupidly, I forgot my camera when I went out so I have no images of them on the shelves. I will be taking flyers to more live music and performance venues over the weekend and will also be giving them out on the street!
More sign manufacture pictures!

Flyers!
My flyers have just arrived! I've unpacked them and they look good - the pink has come out nice and bright just as I'd hoped, and I'm pleased with the print quality, particularly considering how reasonably priced they were.
I have contacted several people I know who own shops and club venues to ask if I could display some of them in their flyer racks... hopefully they will agree and I'll take some over this week!

Photographers
I have met with a couple of photographers today to ask them about coming to the club to get shots of the acts and sign in situ - they have both agreed to come along and photograph the night! Tom Medwell and Laura Billing both specialise in photographing live music and performance events so are very well qualified and should be able to get some good shots to document the night.

First pictures of sign manufacture in progress!
I've just received the first set of images of the sign being made! I've asked Rhys at Remco to document each stage of the manufacture and send the images over to me so I can keep track of how it's taking shape, and post the pictures up here.

I've also been informed today that Rhys has booked a slot on Monday at a local car body workshop (Hilltop Coachworks) to have the sign sprayed with metal flake paint, as I requested - he did not have the correct type of spray gun to handle metal flakes at his workshop. He'll be sending over pictures of the finished paint job on Tuesday!
